Paul H. Quinn was born in February 1896 in Clinton County, Missouri. He was the son of Robert E. Lee Quinn and Minnie Elizabeth Smith Quinn. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on October 17, 1918 in a hospital in France and is now buried in Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial, Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, Departement de la Meuse, Lorraine, France.
