George Fisher McBane was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, April 13, 1894. He moved to East Palestine with his parents at the age of three. He graduated from High School in 1913 and entered Muskingum College and then enlisted. Prior to leaving he married Miss Ethel Hunston. On October 25, 1918 he died of wounds received while in action.
