Earle Freeman Howe was born on January 1, 1900 in Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on April 8, 1918 in France at the age of 18 and is now buried in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Ware, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA.
