Ernest Webster Foster was born on July 7, 1886 in North Andover, Essex County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Nathan Foster and Grace P. Webster Foster. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I in Company F, 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died in 1918 and is now buried in Brookside Cemetery, West Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts, USA.
