Howard F. Doucette was born in 1899 in Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He enlisted in the Massachusetts National Guard on July 30, 1917 and served with the 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Division. He was deployed overseas on October 3, 1917 but died of wounds received in action on July 6, 1918. He is now buried in Aisne-Marne American Cem., Belleau, France.
