Ovila Case was the son of Alfred and Ezilda Case. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on April 10, 1918 and is now buried in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA. The Ovila Case Post No. 95 was named in his honor.
