Thomas James Brennan was born in 1892 in Woodbury, Litchfield County, Connecticut. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company D, 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on September 13, 1918 in France and is now buried in St. Mihiel American Cemetery, Thiaucourt, France.
