Lucien M. Booze was born on January 8, 1895 in Franklin County, Kansas. He was the son of George Lucian Booze. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private First Class in Company B, 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on October 25, 1918 in France at the age of 23 and is now buried in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas, USA.
