Gleason W. Young was born on February 2, 1898. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I in the 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on July 17, 1918 at the age of 20 and is now buried in Appleton Cemetery, Deering, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA.
