Clifton “Cliff” Wormhood was born in Rochester, Strafford County, New Hampshire. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in the 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died in 1918 from an accident in France but his current burial place is unknown.
