Francis B. Watson was born on March 11, 1892 in Brooklyn, Kings County (Brooklyn), New York. He was a member of Company C, 47th Regiment and later was transferred to Company E, 106th Infantry during WWI. He was killed while on the Hindenburg line on September 27, 1918 in France at the age of 26 and is now buried in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, Queens County, New York, USA.
