Irving Veno was born on January 20, 1898 in Ossipee, Carroll County, New Hampshire. He was the son of Samuel A. and Alice Veno. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company E, 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was reported missing on August 11, 1918 and was Killed in Action on July 19, 1918 in France. He is now buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA.
