Otto J. E. Sexauer was born on August 19, 1899. He was the son of Sebastian and Henrietta Sexauer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company I, 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on October 1, 1918 at the age of 29 and is now buried in Saint Trinity Cemetery, Lemay, St. Louis County, Missouri, USA.
