Henry John Scobell was born on May 23, 1896 in Cape Vincent, Jefferson County, New York. He was the son of George Sidney Scobell and Louise M. Frisbie Scobell. Scobell was a Lieutenant in WWI in 103rd Infantry and was injured at Balleau Wood or something like that. He was recovering from his wounds, but caught pneumonia and died on November 10, 1918 in an army hospital in Allery, France. He is buried at Riverside Cemetery in Cape Vincent, New York, USA.
