Edward J. Poulliot was born in 1899. He was the son of Prosper Christopher Pullyard and Geneva Ronco Poulliot. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company A, 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died in the raid carried out at Raiville, France when he was struck by a German hand grenade and died from injuries received. He is now buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, Penobscot County, Maine, USA.
