Simon Peters was born in 1898. He was the son of Andrew M. Peters and Mary Legere Peters. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in Company E, 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on July 29, 1918 and is now buried in Calvary Cemetery, Skowhegan, Somerset County, Maine, USA.
