Matthew K. Myshrall was born in 1898 in Prince William, York County, New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of Ephraim Louis Myshrall and Janet Amelia Little Myshrall. He entered the military service in Maine and served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on July 20, 1918 and is now buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Rangeley, Franklin County, Maine, USA.
