Clarence John Miller was born on September 5, 1895 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He was the son of Peter C. Miller and Etta M. Colgan Miller. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in the 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on October 27, 1918 in France at the age of 23 and is now buried in Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA.
