Lewis Francis Hoskins was born on July 25, 1896. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private First Class in the 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on November 5, 1918 at the age of 22 and is now buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, Piscataquis County, Maine, USA.
