Harry Albert Harriman was born on August 16, 1896 in Wolfeboro, Carroll County, New Hampshire. He was the son of Albert W. Harriman and Nellie A. Kimball Harriman. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on July 18, 1918 and is now buried in Aisne-Marne American Cem., Belleau, France. He also has a cenotaph located in Pine Hill Cemetery, Wolfeboro, Carroll County, New Hampshire, USA.
