Chester A. Evans was born in 1890. He was the son of Edmund A. Evans and Lovina Evans. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in Company F, 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died in 1918 and is now buried in Monroe Village Cemetery, Monroe, Waldo County, Maine, USA.
