Alphonse Dumond was born in 1896. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on July 17, 1918 in Chateau Thery, France and is now buried in Mount Calvaire Cemetery, Somersworth, Strafford County, New Hampshire, USA.
