Emile T. Burns was born in May 1894 in New Hampshire. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company I, 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on July 20, 1918 in Chateau-Thierry, France and is now buried in Old Saint Louis de Gonzague Cemetery, Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA.
