Gustive Harry “Gus” Bullock was born in Loogootee, Martin County, Indiana. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died from his wounds received in battle in 1918 in France but his current burial place is unknown.
