Aime Benoit was born in 1892 in Canada. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I in the 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on July 20, 1918 in France and is now buried in Old Saint Louis de Gonzague Cemetery, Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA.
