Bert B. Baker was born in 1897. He was the son of Marshall J. Baker and Carrie V. Moore Baker. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in Company B, 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action in 1918 in Chateau- Thierry, France and is now buried in Scottsville Cemetery, Danby, Rutland County, Vermont, USA.
