Chas. H. Wilkinson was born at Cove, Oregon, August 12, 1897. He was the oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wilkinson. He graduated from the Chelan High School with the class of 1915 as president of the class. Chas enlisted in early 1917. He drove an ammunition truck during the Chateau Thierry advance. He then served in the Headquarters Company, 102 Infantry as mounted orderly to the Commanding officer. He died on Nov. 27, 1918 due to a gas attack.
