Robert M. Wilcox was born on January 14, 1896 in Bethlehem, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in Company F, 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died of disease on March 5, 1918 in France at the age of 22 and is now buried in Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et- Nesles, France.
