Fred F. Sabonis was born in 1898. He was the son of Frank W. Sabonis and Amelia Meikolite Sabonis. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I in the 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died in 1918 and is now buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut, USA.
