Albert Rossignol was born in 1897 in New Hartford, Litchfield County, Connecticut. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in Company M, 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on November 11, 1918 and is now buried in Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial, Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, Departement de la Meuse, Lorraine, France. He also has a cenotaph located in Zion Hill Cemetery, Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut, USA.
