Anton Aplouns Nelson was born on August 12, 1892. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on October 25, 1918 at the age of 26 and is now buried in Prairie Home Cemetery, Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota, USA.
