Edward J. Kline was born on January 1, 1895. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Sergeant in Company I, 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action during the Battle of Seicheprey, France on April 20, 1918 at the age of 23. He is now buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden, New Haven County, Connecticut, USA.
