Joseph Aloysius Kelly was born in 1893 in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in the 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on July 20, 1918 and is now buried in Aisne-Marne American Cem., Belleau, France.
