Albert E. Johnson was the son of Charles J. Johnson and Ida C. Emanuelson Johnson. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a First Lieutenant in Company C, 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on May 8, 1918 in France at the age of 25 and is now buried in Collinsville Cemetery, Collinsville, Hartford County, Connecticut, USA.
