Roy L. Howe was born in 1896. He was the son of George L. Howe and Ellen Welton Howe. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I in Company A, 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died in 1918 and is now buried in Old Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut, USA.
