Private Hogan entered service September 19th, 1917, as a member of the Old 6th Georgia Regiment, Company "C", 102nd Infantry, 26th Infantry Division. He remained with this unit until his death. Was wounded in action at Chateau-Thierry and died of his wound July 23rd, 1918.
