George L. Hall was born on December 7, 1897 in Simsbury, Hartford County, Connecticut. He was the son of Joseph L. Hall and Catherine Kane Hall. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in HQ Company, 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on October 28, 1918 in France at the age of 20 and is now buried in Saint Bernard Cemetery, Simsbury, Hartford County, Connecticut, USA.
