George J. Daly was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Daly. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in Company K, 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on March 11, 1918 in France at the age of 22 and is now buried in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut, USA.
