Myron L. Whitcomb was the son of Lindley N. Whitcomb and Lillie S. Bowden Whitcomb. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in the 102nd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on July 25, 1918 and is now buried in Knowlton Cemetery, Newburgh, Penobscot County, Maine, USA.
