John Maynard Walsh was born on June 1, 1893 in Prince Edward Island, Canada. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I in Company D, 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on October 27, 1918 in France at the age of 25 and is now buried in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA.
