Joseph J. Taylor was born in 1889. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died of disease on December 12, 1918 in France and is now buried in Saint Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA.
