Edward M. Sullivan enlisted in 1916 for service on the Mexican Border. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company C, 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died in 1918 and is now buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, USA.
