Thomas J. Roberts was born on December 2, 1893 in New Bedford, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Corporal in Company C, 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on April 7, 1918 in France at the age of 24 and is now buried in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, USA.
