Ralph P. Legere was born in 1898 in Massachusetts. He was the son of Patrick M. Legere and Rosa Anna Legere. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private First Class in the 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on September 30, 1918 in France at the age of 20 and is now buried in Saint Anthony Cemetery, San Antonio, Pasco County, Florida, USA.
