John A. Larson was born on December 21, 1895. He was the son of Andrew Larson and Emma Larson. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in the 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on October 27, 1918 and is now buried in Graceland Cemetery, Boisberg, Traverse County, Minnesota, USA.
