Patrick J. Heneghan entered the military service in Massachusetts. He was born in Ireland in 1890 in Doolough, Geesala, Co. Mayo, Ireland. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Sergeant in the 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. Died at Base Hospital 34, Nantes, France, having been wounded 22 Jul 1918 near Trugny. He died on September 22, 1918 and is now buried in Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et- Nesles, France.
