Harry Helman was born on July 3, 1899 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I in the 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on July 24, 1918 in France at the age of 19 and is now buried in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, USA.
