Born Mt. Vernon, Iowa, June 5, 1896. Son of Ella and Phillip O. Hahn. Volunteered March 30, 1917. Overseas in 26th Division, Co. C, 101st Infantry. Killed October 28, 1918, in Bois Belleu Woods, in the fighting north of Verdun.
