Frank Eaton Gorton was born in 1889 in Mammoth, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I in Machine Gun Company, 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He was Killed in Action on October 25, 1918 in Champagne-Ardenne, France and is now buried in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, USA.
