Elihu E. Goodell was born in 1888. He was the son of Elbridge E. Goodell and Julia E. Hayes Goodell. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I in Company L, 101st Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry "Yankee" Division. He died on November 4, 1918 and is now buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Morrisville, Lamoille County, Vermont, USA.
